Today, we would like to introduce you four of the most popular spots in Kawasaki area, which has a great access to/from Haneda Airport.

Toshiba Science Museum

The museum gives you an opportunity to learn about the history of global company Toshiba and experience Japan’s state-of-art technologies. They have many experiential equipment, with which you can learn while having fun. Admissions are free. To access to Haneda Airport from the museum, you can go to Keikyū Kawasaki Station, which takes seven-minute walk from the museum, then travel to the airport approx. for 12 minutes with a train of Keikyū Line (the museum is directly connected to JR Kawasaki Station West Exit). Chinese and English attendants are available upon prior reservations.

Tokaido Kawasaki Shuku Koryukan

Kawasaki-shuku, one of the stations of Tokaido, which was a major transportation route in Edo era. This facility gives you an opportunity to learn about the townscapes of Kawasaki-shuku, and the history and culture of Kawasaki City. To head to Haneda Airport from here, catch a train at Keikyū Kawasaki Station, located approx. four minute walk from the facility, then travel about 12 minutes on Keikyū Line.

Kawasaki Daishi Heikenji Temple

Established in 1128, this historical temple has been long-beloved as Daishi-sama for warding off bad luck. Stately halls stand within the vast grounds. From the temple to Haneda Airport, go to Kawasakidaishi Station (8 minute walk from the temple) to catch a train of Keikyū Line. Approx. 22 minute trip to the airport.
