Nanzenji Temple/ Suirokaku Aqueduct

It may surprise you to see a large brick aqueduct passing through the temple grounds. The structure was built in 1888 and designed so as not to interfere with the temple’s scenery. To this day, it serves as a beautiful addition to its surroundings and makes for a great photo backdrop. For this reason, it is used in the filming of many TV dramas, movies, etc.

The Path of Philosophy

This magical path at the foot of Mt. Higashiyama follows the beautiful Shishigatani Canal. There is no shortage of seasonal flora and breathtaking imagery here, though the path may be best known for its cherry blossoms. It is the perfect place to take a reflective walk on your own or enjoy a romantic stroll with someone special.

Nijo Castle Gardens

Many people come to Nijo Castle to take in its exceptional Edo culture and architecture. And while we certainly acknowledge the magnificence of the castle itself, today we’d like to urge you to visit the three castle gardens: the Ninomaru Garden, the Honmaru Garden, and the Seiryu-en Garden. There is a world of beauty to be admired in each and every season.

There are different types of plans based on the duration of their usage, with the 7-day plan (1,800 yen before tax), 15-day plan (2,800 yen before tax) and the 30-day plan (3,500 yen before tax). For each plan, high-speed data is available at a maximum speed of 225Mbps, up to 200MB per day (*).
* If the amount of high-speed data used in a single day exceeds 200MB, the data speed will be restricted to 200Kbps until 23:59 of that day. This restriction will be released on the following day.
