The package looks very trendy! As soon as I opened the package, I could smell the bitter chocolate. That sweet aroma heightened my anticipation.
When I saw the abundance of beautiful shining chocolate sauce on the cake, it made me wonder, is this really a convenience store desert? To top it all off, there was an almond, as well as shaved white chocolate and whipped chocolate cream.
Surprise! Sandwiched between the already delicious layer was a ribbon of cocoa mousse, engulfed in airy sponge cake. Chocolate whipped cream, chocolate sauce, chocolate sponge and cocoa mousse…! Death by chocolate!
Not only did this cake look like it was the star confectionary from a French bakery, the taste had the rich flavour. The “chocolatiness” was paired with a burst of sour strawberry sauce, at the very heart of the cake. Not only is this exquisitely indulgent, but its an unforgettable journey, opening the door to chocolate texture paradise.
