Premium Roll Cake is one of Lawson’s popular sweets. I found out that Lawson recently released it in a frozen form. They made it with “Kiri cream cheese”, a famous cheese maker from France. I love cheese so I had to hurry to Lawson to grab this dessert! Since releasing this dessert there has been a lot of positive feedback on social media about the product.
I opened the lid and there was a lovely mound of an ice cream mountain atop the roll cake.
My goodness! I could hardly wait to dig in! The “Kiri” cream cheese was the main ingredient of the sponge cake and the ice cream.
I cut it in half and looked at it! It was generous amount of ice cream!
The ice cream was so rich and smooth. I could definitely taste the Kiri cream cheese. Loved it!
Then I tasted the sponge cake. At first I could taste the egg, then I could mildly taste the cheese. The texture was nice and moist. I would say they are a great match.
Personally I enjoyed leaving the ice cream until it had melted a bit and the sponge cake was softened and the ice cream was creamy. Try it like this!
