One of the prime outdoor heavens in Japan! Get fully absorbed in nature in Nagano!

Hi, this is Sugita and I am the editor for “Good Luck Trip Nagano” September edition.

The title for this month’s opening article is, “One of the prime outdoor heavens in Japan! Get fully absorbed in nature in Nagano!” In this article, we are going to introduce the prefecture dividing it into 4 different areas; Toshin (Eastern area), Hokushin (Northern area), Chushin (Central area), and Nanshin (Southern area). Nagano is known as one of the Japan’s premier mountainous tourist area surrounded by 3,000m grand mountains and beautiful plateaus.

・Let’s go hike beautiful mountains and breath in beautiful sceneries!
・Let’s go up to the summit. Trekking or ropeway, it’s up to you!
・Mountains, rivers and sky. They are all your playground!
・Come enjoy extraordinary stargazing and river rafting experiences!

The second article, which is going to be 33 pages, will be about “Close look of areas” covering areas such as Asama-Saroku, Karuizawa, Saku, Komoro, Ueda, Tateshina, Yamanouchi, Iiyama, Shinanomachi, Nagano-City, Chikuma, Matsumoto, Omachi, Komagane, Suwa and Iida.
