The premium roll cake series is Lawson’s popular dessert series. They have released a limited Halloween version!
Can you see the Jack O’ lantern through the package? It’s hard to miss.
Even the package is Halloween-ish and cute!
It’s a good idea to take this when visiting your friends and family.
The face of the Jack O’ Lantern is drawn on the roll cake using blended cocoa and cinnamon powder.
The roll cake looks yellow because premium Hokkaido Ebisu Kabocha pumpkins are used to make both the sponge cake and the cream. Ebisu Kabocha pumpkin is the kind of pumpkin that is widely eaten in Japan.
The sponge cake was fluffy and moist. I could taste the mild pumpkin flavour.
The pumpkin cream is made from Hokkaido cream and Hokkaido pumpkin. It tasted amazingly milky, rich and naturally sweet from the pumpkin. It was so good!
Mixed into the pumpkin cream was pumpkin custard. The orange colour in the yellow cream is the pumpkin custard. Even though there’s not much inside, I could taste the rich concentrated pumpkin flavour!
This roll cake was pumpkin all the way. It looked cute and tasted yummy. It made me smile when I ate it .Enjoy Halloween with this sweet!
