The “Autumn and Winter Illumination” takes place in Yuushien Garden, famous for being the largest-scale circuit-style garden in the San’in Region.
The entire 12,000 tsubo (roughly 39,669 m²) Japanese garden is covered in 1.2 million lit bulbs, creating a cutting-edge Japanese-style illumination.
Depending on the season, the illumination’s theme shifts, from autumn leaves lights, to Christmas, then to New Year’s.

Illumination Schedule 2018

Autumn Leaves: November 15th-December 3rd, until 8:00pm
Christmas: December 6th-26th, until 8:30pm
New Year’s: January 2nd-14th, 2018, until 8:00pm (with breaks on nights of January 8th, 9th, and 10th)
