The Ring of Love and Light that Unites Locals Through Smiles
The “Heart Light Festa,” the winter festival of Saga Prefecture’s Tosu City, is being held once again in 2016!
Over 100,000 people on average visit the Heart Light Festa every year. This illumination’s displays are handmade by local volunteers, and over 200,000 light bulbs illuminate and spread warmth throughout the area. A variety of event ideas are used in the festival to be enjoyed alongside the lights, such as local object displays and items made by local elementary school students.
