Pomu donut series is very popular because of their soft but chewy texture. Seven Eleven just released a cheesecake flavor version! I can’t miss out on this!

The aroma of the sweet and sour cheese hit my nose as soon as I opened the package. The top of the donut was coated with cheese cake icing. I enjoyed the little crispy cookie crunches on top as well. When it comes to sweets, I think texture is as important as taste.

The donut was filled with whipped cream! The whipped cream had cream cheese and lemon juice in it which made it very refreshing. Loved it!

The dough wasn’t super sweet and even though the donut was filled with whipped cream I didn’t find it heavy at all.
This product, Pomu Donut (cheesecake flavor) is available at Seven Elevens in parts of Saitama prefecture and the North Kanto region.
