Seven Eleven’s popular cream puff series “Shiromoko” now offers an Uji Matcha cream puff!
Since its release, this product has become super popular. The price is very reasonable as

Wow! The vivid Matcha colour is so enticing!

Let’s dig in! The Matcha custard fills the puff all the way up. The custard was so creamy but I could easily taste the Matcha. It almost tastes like expensive Matcha ice cream!
The dough was thicker than usual and it was chewy.
The dough and cream weren’t overly sweet, accentuating the Matcha taste.
A well calculated balance.

This dessert tasted very decadent. I think it would taste really good frozen as well.
It’s filled with creamy Matcha custard. When eating it be careful of the cream spilling out!
This dessert is available all over Japan except for in the Tohoku area, Yamanashi prefecture, Nagano prefecture, Niigata prefecture and Toyama prefecture.
