It’s pretty rare to see red bean paste combined with cheese!?
But I love both of them, so the combination has to be good!
The side of the package says they used Kiri cream cheese in this product.
I had to check this out!

The secret is the dessert’s pastry. Puff crust was overlapped with pie crust and then baked to perfection. The outcome? A crispy but at the same time moist crust. The crust and the mild sweetness of the icing sugar is what you will taste first.

Let’s look inside… Oh no… The red bean paste and whipped cream cheese are on either side.
The red bean paste was made from Hokkaido Yumemurasaki red beans. They’re not totally mashed, there were still some chunks left as you can see in the photo!

The whipped cream cheese was very milky and tasted exactly like Kiri cheese!
Now let me see whether red bean paste and cheese make a happy pair or not.
