Lawson has just released macaroons with a hint of Summer holidays.
Are you ready for the flavors? Try not to be surprised. Ok, there is a Mango flavored macaroon which has a jasmine aroma, and a white vanilla flavored one which has a chamomile aroma.
Can you imagine! They’re very progressive flavors, I have to admit.
Macaroons are French baked sweets which use egg whites, sugar and almond powder as the main ingredients. The lovely thing about macaroons is a person can vary the color or taste in various ways by adding different ingredients. Not to mention they are cute.
The outer texture was very crunchy but the inside was fluffy and almost chewy.
It was very light and pleasant!
The yellow one was mango flavored, it wasn't overpoweringly sweet.
The fruitiness of the mango and the aroma of the jasmine was so refreshing.
The white one was vanilla flavored, it was sweeter than the yellow one.
The vanilla and the almond was very distinctive, then after, the smell of chamomile hit my nose.
I would recommend this dessert when you are tired, either physically or mentally. The taste and aroma will bring back fond memories of summer, escaping reality for a moment. I found it very therapeutic♪
