4. The 69th Suwa Lake Fireworks Festival (Nagano Prefecture)

5. The 91st Omagari National Fireworks Competition “Omagari Fireworks” (Akita Prefecture)

This is one of the most authoritative fireworks competitions that fireworks masters from all over Japan compete to decide who the No.1 is. One of the most magnificent fireworks festivals where top-rated experts compete with each other. The location of the festival is blessed with not having any mountains around, no echoing sounds as a result and no lights that block audience from watching fireworks.

6. The 86th Tsuchiura All Japan Fireworks Festival (Tochigi Prefecture)

A fireworks competition where fireworks masters from all over the country compete for their techniques, which actually is one of the two largest competitions next to “Omagari Fireworks”. During the festival, fireworks that are almost like pieces of art made with precise skills light up the sky.
