As you may know, Lawson premium roll cake is a popular sweets series.
Recently they released a new edition made with the flavor of Chai tea from India!
Right away when I opened the package, I could smell the aromatic Chai tea.
Inside the sponge cake dough you’ll find two kinds of cream. One is a tea whipped cream with a hint of cinnamon and ginger, and the other is a simple milky whipped cream. Both were whipped very lightly.
Notice the crushed tea leaves blended into the sponge cake dough?
No wonder it’s so aromatic!
It was as fluffy as angel cake♪
The flavor of the sweet milk tea with a hint of ginger and cinnamon was a perfect combination!
I loved the cream inside as well. Spiced cream paired with mild whipped cream is as good as it gets. The sponge cake with tea leaves was so flavorful, it accentuated the whole cake.
I love tea so I was hooked on this dessert right away!
It’s not overly sweet so I could easily eat a couple of these!
