This special mont blanc is made using high quality French chestnuts.
And they aren’t just any old French chestnuts, they are certified by the AOP of the EU! AOP is an acronym for “appellation d'origine protégée”, which is French for “protected designation of origin”. Chestnuts used for this dessert are AOP registered!
A simple mont blanc from the outside.
When I cut into the dessert, the generous amount of whipped cream and chestnut paste is revealed. Inside was a sponge cake base, a chestnut mousse, and whipped cream.
The chestnut cream was very thick, aromatic, and rich! How luxurious! The sponge cake dough and whipped cream was simple and not too sweet, which brought out the quality of the ingredients!
I could not believe this is available in a convenience store!
If you like rich, sweet desserts, this is for you.
