One of those sections of Harajuku garnering much attention from around the world right now as the birthplace of Japanese “kawaii” (cute) culture is “KAWAII MONSTER CAFÉ.”
During the day, it’s a cute café and restaurant. In the evening, it transforms into a deep, sexy night space!

Wherever you look, everything is cute! There’s no rule against taking photos inside the store.
The café is produced by Sebastian Masuda, who also produces the live performances of popular musician Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.
There are several shows held throughout the day and evening put on by monster girls. (Number of shows varies by day)
