Popular Curry Restaurants Vie for Dominance in “Hakata,” a Food Battlefield! Large-Scale Food Festival “Super Curry Grand Prix”!
“Hakata” is a food district that is known as a battlefield for restaurants. That very place is to be the location of the large-scale food event “Super Curry Grand Prix”!
Talented “spice masters” from across Japan will gather in Hakata! Also, running at the same time will be the “Gekikara Beer Garden,” another must-see event!
“Hot” Food Entertainment Combines Spice and Entertainment!
Over 20 popular curry restaurants from across Japan will be present for the event, and the #1 curry will be selected among them by vote of those attending.
The participating restaurants will be divided into participating in the 1st and 2nd halves of the event, so you’ll be able to taste different restaurants’ curries even if you stop by during both halves of the event!
There will also be non-spicy children’s curry and a kids’ area, so those with children can enjoy the event too!
Additionally, in collaboration with popular Fukuoka programs, there will be appearances by various popular performers and famous talents!
Held at the Same Time is the “Gekikara Beer Garden”!
The “Gekikara Beer Garden,” which features spicy foods that pair well with beer, will also be held at the same time!
Furthermore, dance groups from across all of Kyushu will put on beautiful performances at the annual show at the Fukuoka Castle stage!
Eat, drink, and be merry here as you enjoy the music! 2019’s Golden Week will feature 11 spicy hot days with the “Super Curry Grand Prix”!
