Kitchen Check
A long-standing Western-style “Yoshoku” restaurant founded over 50 years ago
Western cuisine
Located at the Rosa Kaikan, one of Ikebukuro’s landmarks, sits this well-established yoshoku (Western-style cuisine) restaurant that first opened its doors in 1968.
The exterior has a wonderful old-timey feel to it, and the interior features a wood and brick design along with nothing but counter seating, all of which adds to the restaurant’s retro-style ambiance.
Hamburg steak is the main feature on their menu board, and they also offer classic yoshoku staples like omurice and napolitan spaghetti, which are highly recommended.
