Since its establishment in 1948, this long-standing dessert shop has been operating on the old Karuizawa Ginza Street, offering a traditional taste of sweetness through the decades. Their signature product, "Chimoto Mochi", features a delicious combination of brown sugar and walnuts from Shinshu kneaded into mochi. In addition to this signature treat, the shop offers a variety of other sweets as well as perfect lunch options like soba and udon.

However, among the sweets, the most popular is the "Natural Shaved Ice" made with natural ice produced in Karuizawa. This ice is known for its slow melt and less likelihood of causing brain freeze.

A standout item is the "Uji Milk Kintoki", generously topped with freshly whisked matcha after ordering. Hidden at the bottom of the dish are homemade sweet red bean paste and condensed milk, allowing you to adjust the sweetness to your taste.
