This park is really thoughtfully designed. If you’re interested in Japanese culture, it’s definitely worth a visit.

The view of the thousand cherry blossoms is truly unforgettable.

  • The autumn leaves here are absolutely gorgeous when they turn red!

  • Even though it's called Sakurajima, it's not really an island. The radishes grown here are totally different from the ones you see in regular markets—they're short and super big, apparently because of the volcanic soil. The local oranges are also small but really sweet and delicious.

  • You can enjoy the seaside views here. The seafood at Kuroshio Market is super fresh with lots of variety, and everything tastes great.
