Seeing the mountains and sky around Lake Toya from the boat felt like watching a moving watercolor painting. I really enjoyed the slow pace of cruising on the lake—super relaxing~

There are many Toshogu Shrines in Japan dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu. Since this one was close to my hotel, I decided to stop by. The scenery was pretty nice.

This is one of the few water parks in Japan. There's even a Starbucks inside the park, so you can enjoy a coffee while taking in the view.

This ancient temple in Izu is famous. Walking along the bamboo path here is so peaceful and quiet.

The exhibits here are totally different from traditional zoos and aquariums. You can interact directly with the animals, and the art concept makes it all feel really fresh and fun!

All the freshly caught seafood is super fresh, and since it's right at the source, the prices are great for what you get.

A lot of foreign tourists try to take beautiful sunset photos here, but they don't seem to care about their own safety, which makes things pretty dangerous. The Japanese locals just shake their heads when they see it!

Riding the retro steam train was such a cool experience! The wooden seats and old-school fans really add to the vibe. The scenery along the way is stunning, with endless nature and impressive valleys. There are also souvenir shops and bento boxes at the station.
