  • The noodles and cabbage are piled on thick, making it really satisfying to eat. The sauce is a perfect mix of sweet and savory—goes great with both rice and drinks!

  • Ukiha Inari Shrine is up on a hillside, with a row of red torii gates stretching upward—makes for awesome photos. On clear days, you get a great view of Ukiha below, which is really soothing. There are quite a few steps, but taking photos along the way makes it totally worth it.

  • You can get up close to cliffs and waterfalls, and if you're lucky, you might spot seagulls, seals, or even brown bears! The guides on the boat are really knowledgeable, and the natural scenery is just breathtaking!

  • The giant stone tunnel in the middle is so unique! You write your wish on paper first, then crawl through to make your wish come true!

  • This is a shopping and dining space that blends Kyoto vibes with a modern feel. It's small, but the quality is top-notch.

    Omoide Yokocho is a place full of history and culture. The unique vibe of the street really lets you experience a special side of Japanese life.

    Luckily, there weren't many people that day, so the views from above were really beautiful.

    After visiting Tenryu-ji Temple, you can also check out the Bamboo Grove and Nonomiya Shrine nearby.

    The garden landscaping here is just as beautiful as other temples. It's a really relaxing place.

  • During the fall foliage season, there are so many people that you have to line up to get in. Inside the temple, everything is spotless, and you can even catch beautiful reflections.

  • It's a really peaceful and untouched spot. The water is so clear, it's like a mirror. Lots of professional photographers come here to shoot.

  • There are tons of antique trains here. The collection is impressive, and the explanations are detailed and interesting. You can even watch how trains are managed at Kyoto Station.
