  • Visiting here lets you enjoy stunning coastal views. Overall, it's an ideal travel spot that combines natural beauty, historical legends, and a relaxing atmosphere.

  • The waters around Miyako Island are full of vibrant coral reefs and colorful marine life. It's a fantastic spot for diving and snorkeling.

  • There are all kinds of food stalls lining both sides of the alley. It feels just like a Taiwanese night market—something you rarely see in Japan.

  • I went to a restaurant near Aika Station that specializes in eel rice. I tried both the wild eel for JPY 3,200 and the farmed eel for JPY 1,800. Honestly, I couldn't really tell the difference in texture—they were both delicious.

The garden landscaping is peaceful and elegant. Definitely worth a stroll!

  • It's rare to see a torii gate standing in the water like this.
Plus, it's one of Japan's three scenic views and a World Heritage site.
You really have to visit at least once.

  • The majestic mountain scenery around Lake Biwa, including Mt. Hiei, Omi Fuji, and the Hira mountain range, is truly moving.

  • I've only ever seen it in photos before,
but I finally got to visit in person.
    Kinkaku-ji is absolutely breathtaking!
