  • Super retro and cute! The whole place has a real Showa-era vibe. The desserts and drinks are made with so much care—it feels like stepping into a time machine. The pudding and milkshakes are delicious, and everything looks great in photos. It's a chill and photogenic spot for afternoon tea!

Walking through the Sogenchi Garden at Tenryu-ji, you can hear birds singing, feel the gentle breeze, see the play of light and shadow on the trees, and watch the ripples on the water. If you close your eyes and use all your senses to take in the subtle changes in nature, it's truly a wonderful feeling!

  • I remember the first time I used these eye drops, I borrowed them from a coworker and was totally blown away. They felt super refreshing and my eyes instantly felt comfortable. Now, I always use them after long hours on the computer at work!

Watching the mother monkey and baby monkey soaking in the hot spring and hugging each other was just so heartwarming!

The mainly black exterior with some white walls makes Matsue Castle's contrast really unique! Also, if you go up to the top floor of the main keep, you can get a great view of the whole city of Matsue.

  • The paths are really narrow and hard to walk, plus it's super crowded.

  • It took a long time to walk from the parking lot to the main keep while stopping for photos. I almost missed the last entry!

  • Real wasabi is expensive and limited in supply. Most of what you find is made with artificial flavoring.

  • Just two spoonfuls make it easy to cough up phlegm.

  • There are so many products and they all look great. I had no idea where to start!

  • Besides the sake shops, there aren't many other stores. It's perfect for people who love tasting sake.
