Known for its whale sharks, this aquarium is one of the largest on the Sea of Japan side.
The aquarium breeds and exhibits mainly fish that live and migrate in the waters around the Noto Peninsula.
In addition to Dolphins and Sea Lion Shows, the aquarium offers a full range of hands-on events such as Penguin Walk, River otter snack time, and behind-the-scenes exploration, making for a full day of fun.
The "Whale Shark Zone: Blue World," which boasts a huge tank with a water capacity of 1,600 tons, is home to whale sharks and other large warm-water fish that migrate to the waters around Noto.
In the "Noto Sea Galleria," visitors can enjoy the realistic sensation of taking a walk under the sea by combining the projection mapping constantly projected on the ceiling and floor with the aquarium tank.
Dolphins and sea turtles can be seen swimming around in "Dolphins' Paradise," one of the largest tunnel tanks in Japan.
When natural light shines through, the tunnel is enveloped in blue light, making visitors feel as if they are taking a walk under the sea.
The fantastic "The World of Jellyfish" and "Painted Aquarium" are also popular.
"Penguin Walk" features penguins waddling into the audience corridor.
