Eleven pavilions are scattered throughout the lush grounds, where visitors can experience the traditional crafts of Ishikawa Prefecture.
There are more than 50 different courses, such as Yuzen stencil dyeing, Wajima lacquerware, gold leaf pasting, glass blowing, and hand-pulling, allowing visitors to experience a variety of traditional crafts in Ishikawa Prefecture.
There are also tea rooms, restaurants serving local cuisine, and souvenir stores selling famous confections, local sake, local specialties, and traditional crafts, so visitors can enjoy themselves all day long.
Visitors can also enjoy walking in the forest with its cherry blossoms in spring and foliage in fall.
At the Wajima-nuri experience, visitors can try their hand at carving patterns into the lacquer surface and embedding gold leaf and gold powder.
Visitors can make their own original chopsticks, soup bowls, and straps. At the washi paper workshop, visitors can try their hand at making Japanese washi paper with a sense of the season by making pressed flowers, pressed leaves, gold and silver leaf, and other materials.
Visitors can make a variety of small items such as postcards and coaster sets, as well as larger items such as uchiwa fans and tapestries.
Soba noodle making and sweets making are also popular. Visitors can enjoy their creations on the spot or take them home as souvenirs.
