On a clear day, the Kofu Basin opens up below you, with the Southern Alps lining the horizon. Misaka Togenkyo Park is also known as a peach blossom spot, and in the typical season from late March to early April, delicate pink blooms color the grounds.

Set on a vast site of Approx. 40,000 square meters, the park is centered around a large pond called “Kagami-ike (Mirror Pond),” with a children’s playground, a water-play plaza, walking areas, and a lookout area. There’s also a splash pool with a depth of Approx. 35 cm and a small stream, making it a great place to enjoy playing in the water.

On the nature-rich walking paths, you can enjoy a forest-bathing feel and spend unhurried time as the seasons change. “Kagami-ike (Mirror Pond)” is home to carp and ducks, and some visitors enjoy feeding them. Another highlight is the park’s symbol, the “Peace Tower,” which stands in the lookout area.
