Last update :

This tourist facility is located in the former Sekigahara Kita Elementary School building, about Approx. 1 km northwest of the Gifu Sekigahara Battlefield Memorial Museum.

The Sasaoyama area was also the Western Army, Mitsunari Ishida’s position and a standout spot on the Sekigahara battlefield. Straight ahead to the south from the facility, you can also see the decisive battlefield site of Sekigahara, making the location outstanding.

Created to promote connections through sightseeing information and more across the Sasaoyama area, this facility also offers a paid armor-wearing experience. With options ranging from premium sets that let you fully step into the shoes of a Sengoku-era warlord to ashigaru (foot soldier) armor, there are many types available, and dressing assistance is also provided. You can also rent accessories such as waraji straw sandals and swords, so once you’re fully geared up, you can enjoy the feel of being a Sengoku-era warrior.

It’s great for commemorative photos, and you can also explore Sekigahara’s historic sites while wearing armor. You’ll definitely want to post your lively tour with family and friends on social media!

The facility also sells self-serve soft-serve ice cream, a must-try menu item during the hot summer season.
