Inabe City Agricultural Park
A park where families can enjoy seasonal flowers and park golf.
This agricultural park consists of two areas: the Ume Grove Park Area and the Eco Welfare Plaza Area. The 38-hectare Ume Grove Park Area includes a plum grove focused on fruit-bearing plum trees and a garden-style plum orchard centered on ornamental plum trees. Every year from late February to March, over 4,000 plum trees across Approx. 100 varieties burst into bloom. The view from the lookout, gazing down on white blossoms and deep-to-pale pink plum flowers in full bloom, is truly spectacular.
The 18-hectare Eco Welfare Plaza features a peony garden with several thousand blossoms, reaching its best viewing in late April each year. The gorgeous scene of colorful peonies—red, pink, yellow, and white—soothes visitors. The Eco Welfare Plaza also has a 36-hole park golf course certified by the Japan Park Golf Association and a playground area, offering fun for three generations. At the agricultural restaurant “Fleur,” you can enjoy a buffet featuring dishes made with local vegetables.
During the peak bloom season, the Plum Festival is held and many tourists visit. Every June, there is also an event where you can experience plum fruit picking.
