Seisenryo
A diverse range of accommodations at 1,400 meters elevation, shaped by the history of Kiyosato’s development.
This iconic Kiyosato accommodation sits at an elevation of 1,400 meters and was founded in 1938 by Dr. Paul Rusch, known as the “Father of Kiyosato’s Development.”
A wide variety of guest rooms is available to suit your needs, including the classic Main Building rebuilt in 1957, the Annex that harmonizes with nature and highlights the texture of wood, and cottages in a quiet forest a short distance from the Main Building where you can enjoy private time.
Dining is also a highlight, with a popular dessert buffet featuring plenty of fresh highland vegetables sourced from local contract farmers, Yamanashi-grown fruit, and organic Jersey milk from the on-site farm. Everything is carefully handmade down to the dressings and ketchup, with gently seasoned dishes and ingredients cut to make them easy for children to eat.
The large public bath for overnight guests includes an indoor bath and open-air bath made with pristine spring water from Mt. Yatsugatake, letting you fully enjoy bathing in mineral-rich natural water.
Beyond accommodations, the expansive grounds also include several restaurants and shops. There are plenty of attractions such as the “Paul Rusch Memorial Museum,” the “Seisenryo Yamane Museum,” and the “Yatsugatake Nature Interaction Center.” Many Yatsugatake nature trails are also maintained, so you can enjoy forest bathing, nature observation, trekking, and birdwatching, and the Seisenryo Farm Shop is equipped with family-friendly facilities such as giant playground equipment, a treehouse, and pastured Jersey cows.
