A legendary ramen name synonymous with Sapporo ramen, this flagship store is beloved not only by locals but by ramen fans across Japan. Swing by here for a bowl of original “Jun-sumi” style noodles (named after Junren and its offshoot Sumire), at this spot so hot it can even see a crowd long before doors open.

The signature dish is their miso ramen, crafted with the same traditional recipe since its founding. Dip in for decadently luxe flavor wave of broth, a simmered pork base and bold zing of aromatic spices that stands above its Sapporo ramen brothers. A signature layer of lard seals the surface, keeping the soup piping hot until the very last slurp.
