L LOTA is a restaurant on Kouri Island, Approx. a 90-minute drive from Okinawa’s main island. It sits on a hilltop with sweeping 270-degree views, overlooking the emerald-green sea. Inside, the open, glass-walled space immerses you in the surrounding nature, and there are terrace seats where you can enjoy the refreshing breeze.

Here, you can enjoy creative Italian cuisine made with fresh Okinawan ingredients. The chef, who honed his skills at renowned restaurants in Ginza, also draws on Italian, Japanese, and French techniques to create dishes that are as vibrant to look at as they are to taste. From the ever-popular French toast that’s been a favorite since opening to one-of-a-kind specialties that bring out the best of local ingredients, every dish is a must-try.

Lunch offers a wide variety, including meat and fish dishes, pasta, and more. For dinner, course meals for special occasions are also available.

You’ll also find Okinawa’s signature awamori, along with wine and craft beer, making the drink menu just as satisfying.
