除了動物,園區裡也有一點遊樂設施,像是小型摩天輪、旋轉木馬,很有懷舊氣氛。整體來說很適合花個半天慢慢逛,尤其在春秋季節來,空氣好、風景也美👍

Obihiro Zoo
Large animals and native Hokkaido wildlife await at this zoo that’s even open in winter.
Located within Midorigaoka Park in the near-heart of Obihiro City, Obihiro Zoo is the second-oldest zoo in Hokkaido after Sapporo’s Maruyama Zoo. The grounds offer a compact but full-fledged glimpse at encounters with small animals and impressive large species like giraffes.
The zoo is home to some 300 animals across 60 different species. Among them are powerful creatures like the Amur tiger, polar bear, and American bison, alongside native Hokkaido wildlife such as the Ezo raccoon dog, Ezo squirrel, and spotted seal. Special animal keeper experience events are held regularly (advance registration required), offering visitors a closer look at the animals’ care.
Beyond the animal exhibits, the zoo also features a variety of amusement rides for children, including a Ferris wheel, merry-go-round, and go-karts. Rides operate on a ticket system or the wallet-savvy hack of an all-day ride pass if planning to ride a few.
The zoo remains open during winter, though only on weekends and public holidays with shortened hours. Note that all amusement rides are suspended during the winter season, so plan accordingly if visiting then.
