Kitami Family Land
A retro amusement park where you can play to your heart’s content in the nature of Hokkaido.
This amusement park is set in nature, surrounded by lush forests, and features retro rides the whole family can enjoy. Admission is free, and each ride requires a separate ride ticket.
The park offers attractions for all ages, including the thrilling large roller coaster “Crazy Mouse,” the “Dragon Coaster,” where you can feel like you’re riding on a dragon’s back, and family-friendly rides such as the “Merry-Go-Round” and “Mini Steam Train” that even small children can enjoy. Another popular spot is the “Small Animal Corner,” where visitors can interact with rabbits, squirrels, goats, deer, and more.
The park is open from April 29 to October 20, and closes during winter, so plan accordingly. Ride tickets are available as a one-day free pass and 11-ticket coupon sets. On Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays, a snack stand appears at the farm shop selling ramen and zangi curry, while on weekdays, the restaurant inside the adjacent Kyuyomura Center serves rice bowls, udon, and soba.
