Tokachi Hills
A soothing garden where you can enjoy flowers, food, and agriculture all in one place.
A theme garden that brings together flowers, food, and agriculture across a vast site of Approx. 23 hectares. From spring through fall, the gardens are filled with colorful blooms, showing a different side each time you visit.
The grounds also feature Garden Cafe Niwakara, where you can enjoy seasonal dishes and sweets while taking in views of the gardens. At Hills Kitchen, which serves menu items made with carefully selected local Tokachi ingredients, the soft-serve ice cream made with Tokachi-grown azuki beans is especially popular. The shop is lined with Hokkaido souvenirs such as beans and herbal teas, with plenty of items available only here.
There are also plenty of seasonal events, including Umbrella Sky, where colorful umbrellas brighten the sky, and the Night Garden, wrapped in magical light. At the monthly picnic marche, local food and crafts come together, and visitors can relax on the lawn. It's a place where you can spend a special, soothing time surrounded by nature's gifts and enjoy them with all five senses.
