Akesato Ito Dairy Farm

An experiential farm in the Attoko area on the outskirts of Nemuro City. In addition to a restaurant serving dishes made with beef and milk from cattle raised on the farm, the site also features facilities for hands-on dairy farming experiences, a petting zoo, and a campground, making it a great place to enjoy nature, food, and animals all at once.

At the farm restaurant ATTOKO, you can enjoy steaks made with the farm’s original brand of beef, Akesato Tankaku Beef, as well as Nemuro’s local specialty, Escalope. The interior is designed like a barn using reclaimed wood, so you can dine while taking in the atmosphere of the farm.

There is also a wide variety of hands-on programs, including milking cows, feeding animals, and butter making. You can even try a dairy farmer experience, wearing coveralls and doing the same work as the farm staff (advance reservations are required for all programs). At the ATTOKO Livestock Zoo, visitors can interact with farm animals such as goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, chickens, and horses. The grounds also include a gift shop, café, and campground.
