Sweet but not too heavy, and it goes perfectly with tea. After strolling around Karuizawa, it's a great spot to pick up some sweets or souvenirs—really captures the Karuizawa vibe.

This is a really classy art space. The atmosphere is quiet and super comfortable. The exhibitions aren't just visually beautiful—they're also pretty deep, so you'll want to take your time and really soak it all in. The overall design of the space is really creative, too. It looks great in photos! Definitely a spot for anyone who loves art and design.

The fortune sticks here are really unique—they use fish designs, and instead of drawing them, you fish them out with a rod. It's super fun! This place is especially known for its matchmaking luck. You can even get a free matchmaking stone, and the priests will give you a special blessing. 👍

There are actually a lot of cats along the way, and they're not shy at all. You can pet them and take pictures, and they don't mind. The locals are super friendly and definitely cat lovers.

The ticket price is over JPY 3,000, which is honestly a bit expensive, but you get to see full-size replicas of paintings from all over the world. I used to only see these in books or on TV, so I think it's totally worth it.
