The Shibuya Scramble is always bustling, but everyone seems to be in such a hurry.
Do Japanese people love working so much that they forget to enjoy life?

  • Delicious kaiseki cuisine and luxurious, top-notch service. Staying here feels truly special and exclusive.

  • A small but beautiful memorial museum. The wall of books is huge and impressive. It's a pity that photos aren't allowed.

  • The old town streets are really well preserved. There's a historic miso shop where you can try freshly made miso soup. It was so comforting on a cold day. They have both red and white miso, and the soup I tried was a mix of both. The flavor was great and not too salty.

The ropeway is convenient and fast. You get to enjoy the spectacular cliffs and rock formations along the way. If you visit in autumn, the mountains covered in red leaves must be beautiful.
