I thought it was pretty close, but it actually took me 20 minutes to walk from the station. Plus, there's a really steep staircase you have to climb.

This historic hotel was built in 1691 and has over 300 years of history. The old hot spring baths are top-notch, both in water quality and flow. There are several different baths for guests to try out.

I tried a little bit of each sake—ended up mixing 5 or 6 different kinds. I felt a bit tipsy just walking around!
