It used to be the city hall, and it's totally free to enter. If you're passing by, it's definitely worth checking out. They have exhibits about Yonago Castle, the port's development, and San'in culture.

When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, Japanese people picnic and drink under the trees. The park gets super crowded, which kind of takes away from the fun of flower viewing.

I only realized how much I bought after getting back to the hotel! There are so many exclusive items—Minions, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, Super Mario. I just couldn't resist.

The bookstore is really well organized. Even though there are tons of different books, it's super easy to find what you're looking for.

Most torii gates at Japanese shrines are made of wood, bronze, stone, or concrete, but the one here is really unique—it's made of granite! There are also lots of other shrines on the grounds, including ones for the sake god and for safe childbirth, among others.

There are hot springs, a beach, sunsets, and great food. It's an awesome place for a vacation.
