The autumn scenery here is so pleasant. Being up in the mountains really makes you feel far away from the everyday world.

The torii gate standing in the lake is definitely one of the most beautiful sights at Lake Biwa.

The room is spacious, and there's a big bathtub for soaking. Loved it!

You can spend a relaxing afternoon strolling around the shrine, Maruyama Zoo, and Maruyama Park nearby.

I arrived a bit late, so all the souvenir shops nearby were already closed. In the evening, there were a bunch of crows in the sky, which looked a little scary.
