  • This is one of the few shopping centers in Wakayama Prefecture, and it's not far from downtown Wakayama, so it's super convenient! 👍

  • Kumano Hongu Taisha is considered a sacred place where the gods reside. This place is full of spiritual energy~ and, more importantly, it's also the center of faith here. 🙏

  • Rihei is the only guesthouse in Shirakawa-go built in the tsuma-iri gassho-zukuri style. If you want to really experience and learn about traditional gassho-zukuri living, this is the place to stay!

  • Northern Horse Park hosts all kinds of events throughout the year, and you can easily interact with the horses. I totally recommend coming here to ride every year!

  • JR Hakata City is directly connected to the JR station and has so many shops selling Japanese fashion, Kyushu-exclusive restaurants, and souvenirs from all over Japan. No matter how many times I visit, I never get tired of exploring this place!

  • Eiraku Dam has hiking trails where you can enjoy the cherry blossoms drifting in the wind while taking a relaxing walk. It's really a great experience.

  • Yamanakadani Station still has that old-town vibe. It's a peaceful cherry blossom spot with hardly any crowds. After leaving the station, there's a long path lined with cherry trees. Walking under the blossoms is so refreshing and relaxing.

  • Visiting Hanahaku Memorial Park in winter, there's this big windmill that totally makes you feel like you're in the Netherlands! Such a European vibe~

  • Every summer, I come to Lake Toya to watch the fireworks! The famous Lake Toya Long Run Fireworks Festival happens every year, with about 450 fireworks going off over the lake for around 20 minutes. If you're staying by the lake, you definitely shouldn't miss it!

  • Satsukiyama Park is an urban park with a free zoo (Satsukiyama Zoo), a botanical garden, hiking trails, and more. The park is famous for its cherry blossoms, azaleas, and autumn leaves. Whenever I visit Japan, I always think about coming here for a stroll!

  • After the tour, I learned that ORION beer is made from malt, hops, and high-quality water, with carefully selected ingredients from around the world to create its unique flavor. It really tastes great~
