Restaurant Kassui-ken
A restaurant inside Koko-en, a Japanese garden designed to showcase Himeji Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dine while looking out over the garden’s largest area and its strolling pond garden, “Oyashiki-no-Niwa.” The menu features set meals such as the limited-quantity “Hime Gozen” and “Kanbei Gozen.” The most popular choice is conger eel, try sets with anago rice bowls or anago tempura served with udon or soba. There’s also a great selection of local Harima sake, including tasting sets for sake fans. You’ll find sweets like matcha sets and dessert sets, plus seasonal shaved ice in summer, perfect for a break during your stroll.
This place was the worst!!!!
The middle-aged female staff member was insanely rude and made us feel really uncomfortable.
Just because you’re in a good location and get a lot of customers doesn’t mean you can act all high and mighty!!!!
I couldn’t even enjoy the food, and it totally ruined my trip 😭😭😭😭
