  • As soon as you get there, the huge vineyards really grab your attention. The views are amazing, and on a clear day it’s super relaxing—like you can just zone out on the hillside for a while. Everything is kept really clean, and it doesn’t feel like a noisy tourist factory at all. It’s actually pretty quiet.

If you join a tour or do a tasting, it’s a nice experience. The staff’s explanation isn’t stiff, and even if you don’t know much about wine, you can still follow along. The wines lean smooth and easy to drink—not intimidating—so beginners can comfortably give them a try.

When I made it up to the observation deck, I was honestly blown away. The Sapporo night view is unreal—just a massive sea of lights.

The second you walk in, the smell hits you hard. That sulfur smell basically tells you, “Yep, this really is Hell.”

The lavender fields are massive—seriously intense. Seeing them in person is even more unreal than in photos.
The colors are super saturated, and no matter how you shoot it, it looks like a postcard.

The architecture itself is absolutely stunning. The moment you walk in, you just freeze for a second.
The Buddha statue is so huge it almost doesn’t feel real.

Seeing it in person is really pretty mind-blowing. The fact that a whole mountain just popped up like that is wild.

They’re super generous with the free samples. After a few bites, my wallet basically opened itself 😂

There are lots of squirrels. When they suddenly dart out, it can startle you—but they’re also really cute.

The first sip kind of threw me off. By the second sip, I could really taste the depth and tell there’s something to it.
If you want to try something new, don’t miss this one.

  • The atmosphere is really quiet and not too commercialized.

Soaking your feet while looking at the scenery around you, you can slowly feel your whole body relax. It’s a great place to take a break when you’re tired from walking.

It’s not a fancy type of footbath, but the temperature is just right and the surroundings are peaceful. It has this understated, cozy little “simple happiness” vibe.

If you stop by and have a soak while you’re in the area, it definitely makes the trip feel even better.
