The night view of Tokyo Station is absolutely stunning!

As soon as you step out of the Marunouchi Exit, the entire century-old red-brick building is lit up with warm yellow lights. It looks so elegant, almost like a glowing European castle—completely different from the busy, businesslike vibe it has during the day.

I highly recommend going straight to the rooftop of the KITTE building next door. From up there, you can look down and see the historic station surrounded by brightly lit skyscrapers. The contrast between old and new is incredible. Watching the stream of car taillights on the roads below move like a glowing red river really makes you want to stand there and keep snapping photos. Even with the wind blowing, it’s hard to leave.
