You can see deer wandering the streets on Miyajima, waiting to be fed by tourists. Besides Itsukushima Shrine, there are lots of shops to explore, and the famous fried oysters are a must-try.

Every attraction here has its own unique charm. The Tower of Terror especially has amazing sound and light effects—I got startled more than once!

Even though it's pay-to-use, the bridge is only about 10 meters long and takes less than a minute to cross. Is it really worth the JPY 300 fee?

There are so many tourists here that it feels more like a busy market. I still prefer the peaceful and traditional temples of Japan.
