DAISO’s Christmas candles and wooden trees – A review of affordable items

It may not be Christmas quite yet, but when I saw DAISO’s cute Christmas items, I couldn’t resist; I went home with some Christmas candles and a wooden Christmas tree decoration.
DAISO is a popular 100 yen shop in Japan!
Its the top 100 yen chain in Japan, owning more than 2900 shops! DAISO develops and releases about 300-500 new products each month. To my surprise many of them are high quality “made in Japan” products for only ¥100!
The candles were in the form of elegant white Christmas trees!

The candles were in the form of elegant white Christmas trees! The subtle amount of glitter on them was a nice touch. Both simple and dainty, I decided to purchase four.
The arrangement possibilities are endless. For example, they can be arranged to make a nice table centerpiece like in the photo above!

You get to decorate the wooden Christmas tree yourself with the included gold ornaments. There was also a blue variation of the tree for sale.
While this item was 300 yen, not the usual 100 yen, quality-wise it was still a great deal!
All you have to do is connect the 3 pieces of wood to create the tree. Add your ornaments, and you’re left with a classic-looking little decoration. It’s the perfect addition to even the most refined of rooms!
White Christmas candles and wooden trees!
Colorful decorations can be great, but simple white decorations with silver and gold accents can be rather charming as well! Having cute decorations placed around your home is sure to boost your Christmas spirit and put a smile on your face.
