At the foot of Mt. Fuji, the largest safari park in Japan sits at 850m above sea level. You can see how lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants and bears live in the natural setting.
There are 2 tour courses. In the Safari Tour, you can either drive your car or Safari Navigation Car equipped with a tablet. You can also ride on the Jungle Bus with steel mesh windows instead of glass windows, or in the Super Jungle Bus that has a steel mesh ceiling as well for the 50-60-min course. Sitting in the bus, bears or lions will come so close that you can see their big faces, tongues and paws right in front.
On the Walking Tour, go along the Safari Zone fence at your own pace in Walking Safari or go with a guide and feed animals in Adventure Tour. That way, you can take your time to enjoy the animals and breathe the fresh forest air in the relaxing atmosphere.
In Fureai Bokujo (a petting farm), touch kangaroos, capybaras, ponies, red pandas and other cute animals. Visit Doubutsu Mura (Animal Village) and watch rare animals such as leopards, hippopotamuses, squirrel monkeys and porcupines.
