S-PAL Fukushima

S-PAL Fukushima is a popular shopping center directly connected to Fukushima Station’s east exit, serving as a major gateway to the Tohoku region since its opening in 1988. Conveniently linked to both the Tohoku Shinkansen and local JR lines, it attracts both locals and tourists alike.

The first floor offers a variety of gourmet delights, including fresh foods, delis, cafés, and restaurants. Floors two through four feature primarily women’s fashion, along with men’s clothing, accessories, and lifestyle items. On the first floor, the Fukushima Souvenir Hall boasts an extensive selection of local specialties like traditional sweets, sake, and miso-pickled products, making it an ideal spot for quick souvenir shopping before boarding a train.

Additionally, the rooftop hosts the seasonal flower garden "Pal’s Garden," open on clear-weather days (closed from January to March, and during rain or strong winds), offering visitors a peaceful space for relaxation. During the summer, the rooftop transforms into a lively beer garden.
