Enjoy a soothing stay in a wooden log house nestled in a primeval beech forest.

A resort hotel surrounded by nature, located within Towada-Hachimantai National Park. In a warm wooden log house that blends into the primeval beech forest, you can spend a special time while feeling the changing seasons.

Built from massive trees imported from Canada and the U.S., the building is a log structure made with whole logs, and everything except the foundation is made of wood. From the guest rooms, views of the primeval beech forest and the Hakkoda Mountain Range fill the windows, making it incredibly restorative. Cool in summer and gently warmed with floor heating in winter, comfort is well covered, too.

The large public bath is a free-flowing hot spring from the hotel’s own source, with untouched beech forest views through big windows. Guests can also use the sister property, Sukayu Onsen, which is a nice perk. Dinner is a course meal featuring plenty of seasonal Aomori ingredients, with two options: a full French course or a traditional Japanese kaiseki meal. Breakfast can also be chosen as Japanese or Western.
